Michigan high school football remains in action as teams are well into the latter half of the season with only two games remaining. The Bay City Metropolitan Area currently has one team ranked in the MaxPreps Michigan top 25 – Heritage High School. Heritage moved to 5-2 with a resounding 42-0 victory over Dow on Friday, October 6th. They next play 2-5 Powers Catholic on Friday, October 13th.
Elsewhere around the region, 22 other teams were in action on Friday and Saturday. Bay City All Saints, Clare, Elk Rapids, Pontiac Notre Dame, Standish-Sterling, and Traverse City Central all put up 50 or more points on their way to victory.
