Recent data from Realtor.com shows that the U.S. median listing price in August was $435,000 which is down $15,000 from the record high of $450,000 in June.

In Michigan, the average price a home is sold at is $248,000 which is significantly less than the national average.

In Saginaw, the median sold home price is $141,000, in Bay City, it is $165,000, and in Midland, it is $241,500 which are all less than the national and state averages.

According to these numbers, it may be a good time to start looking for a home in the tri city area.
