The Zombie Run is Back This Halloween

The Zombie Run is back to Nichols Arboretum this year. The long-awaited event will take place on the eve of Oct. 21. The flag football belts will represent the lives the runners have, while the Zombies will try to take away the belts. After completing the course, the runners will turn in the remaining belts in exchange for raffle tickets. Using the tickets, the runners can earn various prizes from local merchants. 

Registration starts at 5 and ends at 6 p.m. The run takes place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. After the run is the raffle, which lasts until 8 p.m. From now through Sunday, Oct. 16 at midnight, the price for participating in the event is $35. Members get a special price of $30. Beginning on Monday, Oct. 17, the price is $40 for non-members and $35 for members. The runners can also pay for extra lives which is $5 each.
